I replaced a set of Michelins that only lasted 55% of the mileage warranty. I self-installed on a 2006 Highlander using Coates professional equipment. The tires look very good, and installed easily. There was no issue seating, and runout was negligible. Balancing was easy on steel rims and the heaviest weight used was 2 oz. I suspect the rim contributes to this, but it was not enough to require rim rotation. The road noise is low. This car is a base model that transmits a high level of road noise, so quiet tires are a must. I have used Bridgestone tires in the past, and runout was unacceptable. The initial smoothness of these Hankook tires is very promising! Only time will tell how these tires wear, handle ice and snow, and wet roads.
